Chapter 76

Andrew pretended not to hear what his cousin had said to him but when he felt a hand on his shoulder, he knew it was serious. His cousin turned him around and stared into his eyes.

"Boy, did you just cuss at me?" He asked to verify. He looked like he would pounce on Andrew if he said yes and so Andrew shook his head. He said no. "Surely you know I could never say such words to you, cousin. I only said them to myself because I slipped off and fell. If you heard me incorrectly, I am sorry. Please forgive me" he said as he gave him a small bow.

William released his cousin. It looked like his muscles relaxed as Andrew saw him slowly loosening his hold on him. His mouth relaxed as he bit on his lower lip.

"Great. I wanted to inform you too" William then cleared his throat as he dropped his hands from his cousin's shoulder. "I have an engagement somewhere uptown for the next few days. I will be leaving right away and I need you to take care of the house. Make sure to update me on everything
