I punched him once again but he again snapped his face to meet my gaze, resilient and ready to take another blow without any hesitation. He wasn't ready to show the pain that I was inflicting on him.

"Don't you even think about her in that way," I growled, my voice laden with a deadly warning.

"Why?" He asked with a smirk, defiantly wiping away the blood from his split lip "Aren't you two going to separate after a few months?" Now I was a bit surprised to know that "Isn't your Marriage a contract?"

It was a sort of question that he asked but it came out as if he was reminding me about the truth of my marriage.
