"Get ready; we need to attend a party," Vincenzo declared, his sudden announcement catching me off guard.

"But where?" I inquired, looking up from my books.

"One of my clients is hosting a party, and he has extended an invitation to both of us. You have been cooped up for days; it's high time you got out," he urged.

"Yeah." I sighed, pouting a little. "I would love to go out, but I have an assignment due soon."
