Chapter 117 - Signs and Sparks

Lucas' POV

It was unlike her to visit me without a basic reason. It couldn't be because of benefits, could it? We hadn't had sex in a while and neither has we discussed why we hadn't. Maybe it will make things less awkward for us if we just didn't say anything about it.

“ Are you going to keep staring at me like I'm some sorta ghost?” She sighed as she sat down with caution on my couch. She was dripping wet and she probably was doing her best not to entirely ruin my furniture even though I couldn't really tell if this was helping.

“ Sorry, I'm just wondering. I mean, it's not like you to barge in here and wet for that matter,” I pointed out.

“ Something came up and I just had to leave home,” she shivered.

“ You should probably take off your clothes and have a hot bath. I don't have female clothes here but you can manage my shirt, it's big enough for you,” I offered.

“ Thank you,”

“ Come on, hurry up into the bathroom while I make us both some hot chocolate,”
