Chapter 33

Lucy's pov;

No matter how many knocks I heard I couldn't get out of bed. I felt heavier than a mountain, and as if every cell in my body was just a part of the earth itself. It took me several long moments to open my eyes, and I had to blink a few times before my vision cleared and my head began throbbing again.

Tyler walked in asking, "What are you still doing in the bed?"

When I didn't give him a reply, he sat on the edge of the mattress next to me and asked, "Are you still feeling sleepy?" I didn't respond either, so he continued, "Hey, Lucy..." when he touched my hand, he asked, "Why is it cold?" He touched my forehead and neck but all I could feel was the feverish heat radiating off of me. when he grabbed my chin, I let out a groan of pain and he looked at me with worried concern. "I'll get a doctor ," he said, before rushing out of the room.
