"Okay, you wait here..."

I'm currently in one of the visiting rooms at the police station. I looked at the door where a policeman had just come out of this room. Now I'm left alone in this room.

I purposely told Leo and Owen to wait outside. Apart from the fact that there are restrictions on people who are allowed to enter, I really want to talk privately with someone whose presence I am currently waiting for.

Not long after, the door to the room opened again, and a man with handcuffs was seen entering with two police officers guarding him on either side.

I smiled a little when I saw the man facing me and a table separating us, while the two policemen were standing guard in two corners of the room behind the man.

"Can you guys open his handcuffs?" I asked.

"B-But, ma'am —"

"It'll be fine. I just want to have a casual talk with him," I said, interrupting one of the police.
