Chapter 44

Calix’s POV

I went early in the company since there was an emergency. I don’t know what happened but it seems like someone is sabotaging me in my own business.

“What happened?” I asked the security and even the other employees.

They were just looking down at their feet not intending to answer me.

I knitted my forehead. I was annoyed. My jaw clenched and my fists crumpled.

“What happened?!” I growled, madly.

My secretary was rushing towards me. He was shaking and fearer eloped in his eyes.

“M-Mr. Smith…” he called, stuttering. “S-Someone is trying to…”

“Trying to what?!” I cut him off.

He cleared his throat. “Stole some money in the company,” he replied, fearfully. “I was checking some mails coming from the different accounts…”

I gritted my teeth with so much annoyance and madness. My head is aching as I wasn’t able to sleep for almost two weeks now.

I sleep late and woke up so early. Then, this happens now. Someone is stealing in the company.

“Who’s accounts?” I asked, coldly.
