117. Just Keep Your Mouth Shut

Charlotte’s POV

I was scared the whole way to the hospital with Liam because I could see blood running down my arms and into my hand. Blood has been a source of anxiety for me ever since I was a young child; yet, as I have become more familiar with blood in my daily life, I have begun to feel as though it is nothing to me.

Liam said, “I’ll call Logan. He needs to know about what happened to you."

I nod my head while breathing heavily, and the doctor takes me inside the operating room, and they conduct the operation on me while I am unconscious.

A few hours later,

I woke up with a white bandage on the left corner of my arm, and I stared at the blank wall, then the door opened, and it was Liam.

I was about to get up, but he said, “No, don’t bother.”

“What?”

He exhaled deeply, “I want to tell you something.”

“What happened?” I asked.

“Luzia was attacked by a group of armed men, they killed four of the policemen on duty, and they did the most brutal to Luzia.”
