48. Who's Getting Married?

Abby’s POV

When Patricia and Mister Salvatore finally left, I felt relieved. Carina was surprised to see my husband looking so dangerous at this point. She can't believe that a cruel and heartless person like Fabian would try to keep me safe from people who want to hurt me. I guess I'm lucky to have Fabian, but what about those people who are jealous and want to be me?

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, thank you for saving my ass today. I don’t know what will happen to me if you are not there,” I bit my lower lip and he put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Always count on me, Abby." He kissed my forehead, and the driver finally drove away. I was confused when we went in a different direction.

"Where're we going?"

"We're going to my dad's house, where my stepmother made dinner for the whole family today. She thinks that if my dad and I have a better relationship, she will be happy. I know it was just a misunderstanding, but I don't want my dad to talk to Miguel anymore.
