Charlotte’s POV

Two days later,

Wet sweat and blood mixed together as I fell to the ground and covered my head as he prepared to strike me. As I winced from the pain of his kicks to my stomach, he remarked, "That's what I told you, you are weak."

"I'm not good at this, I can't learn it in one day!"

He screamed at me, “Then you need to focus!”

I sat on the floor, rubbed my face irritatedly, and felt like a failure. How on earth could I be so good this time and not get distracted? I sighed and wiped my sweat from dropping on the floor.

Liam walked towards me, put out his hand, and said, "It's okay..."

I looked up, met his gaze, and said, "I'll do better next time."

He smiled at me and said, "Sorry." Then I grabbed his hand and pulled myself up. Liam gulped as he looked at my lips as we both stared at each other. He turned away and said, "Lunch is ready. Let's eat it before it gets cold."

I bit my lower lip, and said, “Oh yeah….”
