MACEY'S POV

It was another weekend again, and honestly, I was really grateful. Since the incident of Carter kissing me in the office, I had been away from the office.

I stayed home for two days, and I only just went to the office yesterday which happened to be on Friday. I really can't believe Carter has the nerve to kiss me, despite what he had done to me before now.

But somehow I'm still very surprised that he actually kissed me, Because for the three whole years I was married to him, he never for once kissed me. So why would he just kiss me now out of the blues.

Was he really trying to play with my feelings or what? or does he know that I still have feelings for him, and he has plans to take advantage of that fact? So many questions popped into my head, and honestly I wished I could get an answer to them all.
