Audrey took a deep breath and stared at the double doors. She knew her dad was sitting in his study right behind these doors. After her meeting with Anthony, Audrey was a little shaken up, but she refused to crumble. No matter how upset or angry her dad may be, Audrey was determined to say her piece. She closed her eyes for a moment and the image of Killian and Caspian came to mind. Audrey couldn’t help but smile. Nothing could stop her from going after what she wants. And they were what she wants.
With that thought in mind, Audrey opened her eyes and opened the double doors to the study. Maxwell was sitting at his desk like usual, reading something from a stack of binders in front of him, and Sebastian was standing next to him. Maxwell looked up and saw Audrey striding in. Her steps were full of conviction and determination.
“Ah, look who finally decided to grace us with
~ Audrey ~When Audrey left the house this morning, she was radiating with confidence and determination. Never did she imagine that she’d end up curling up next to the toilet bowl on her bathroom floor by the end of the night.“Ugh,” Audrey groaned and pulled herself up.The maids tried to help her, but she only shooed them away. She didn’t want anyone to see her in this pitiful state. Sebastian offered to call a doctor or take her to the hospital, but she also didn’t like that idea.“I just need to rest. I just need to be alone,” she told Sebastian.Audrey didn’t feel like talking to anyone right now. Especially not her dad. She needed time to process everything and while her brain was doing that, her stomach was processing it in a different way. This is so not how things are suppo
~ Audrey ~“What’s up, bitches? I’m bringing the party with me!”Mikey swung the door open dramatically like a scene from a movie. It made a loud banging noise and Audrey and Olivia immediately looked up. They were seated in the living room of Audrey’s Hampton home. The atmosphere was still tense, but Mikey didn’t realize it. He had a smug smile playing on his face and lifted his hands up as if he was presenting a show.“Ta-da!” he said in a singsong way as Caspian and Killian appeared from behind him.Audrey let out a sigh of relief as soon as she saw them. The brothers glanced around the room and their eyes landed on her. Killian’s lips twitched into a smile and Caspian and stared at her intently.“Sorry, we’re late. But you know me, I can’t come to a party empty-handed,” Mikey pulled
~ Audrey ~“You’re what?”Audrey had said it out loud and clear. The brothers heard exactly what she said. But they couldn’t believe it. Caspian thought she must be joking and Killian’s mind went into overdrive. Killian saw the row of pregnancy sticks on the ground and he bent down to pick up one of them. The word ‘positive’ was displayed on the screen.“Is this for real?” Killian asked. No, it’s a prank. Ha-ha.Audrey wished she could say that, but no. She just sighed and sat back down. Her hands went to cover her face.“I took five pregnancy tests,” she said with her hands covering her mouth. “I drank three cans of Arizona ice tea so I could pee five times on a stick. And it all came back positive,”Audrey remembe
~ Killian ~Killian watched as Audrey slept soundly. He was seated on the edge of the bed, right next to her knee. Her eyes were closed and her chest was slowly rising up and down. Killian took note of her beautiful features. Her skin was glowing like gold under the sun, her long dark hair was sprawled like a sheet of silk, and her lips were soft and pink.Killian’s hand stretched out and landed on her thigh. He caressed her skin gently, moving along her curves. When Killian’s hand landed on her stomach, he swallowed hard.Is it… in there?Audrey stirred in her sleep. Killian pulled his hand away. Audrey then opened her eyes, and she smiled when Killian was the first thing she saw.“Hey,” Killian smiled back. “Good morning, love,”“Hmm?” Audrey bl
~ Caspian ~“You’re seriously doing this?” Caspian glared at his brother.“You see any other better idea?” Killian replied challengingly.“Yeah, we get rid of it,” Caspian said matter-of-factly. “Problem solved,”Killian shook his head and sighed. Audrey was fast asleep for the night and the brothers were having a discussion out on the balcony. They made sure that the doors were closed so Audrey wouldn’t hear any of this. Killian just broke the news that he plans on marrying Audrey if the baby was his. Caspian thought it was a stupid plan. He believed a baby shouldn’t even be an option for them at this point.“Maybe you’ve done this to other girls before, but this is Audrey we’re talking about,” Killian hissed and he glanced back at the door.
~ Anthony ~“What do you mean you fúcking lost her?!” Anthony roared and the two large men standing before him cowered in fear.“She’s supposed to be inside that house. But she just disappeared…” one of them said.“Did you hear yourself?” he scoffed. “Does that even make sense do you?”The two of them didn’t answer. They both looked down and swallowed hard. They knew they messed up big time when they started following a car with her in it, but the car was only driving up and down the city for the next three hours. And by the time they realized this, Audrey was already long gone.“Find her,” Anthony ordered. The two men looked back up instinctively.“And don’t come back until you do,” he said again.“Yes,
~ Audrey ~“She belongs to me! You hear me?” Anthony’s voice was heard again.“No, she ain’t!” Caspian couldn’t help himself and shouted back.“So she’s really here,” Anthony laughed sinisterly.Killian shot Caspian a glare. Caspian ignored him, he just lifted the gun’s mouth to the door.“Listen, if you give her back, I promise none of you will get hurt, but if you don’t…” Anthony paused for a second and chuckled, “Well, you don’t wanna know,”Inside the house, everyone fell silent and tense. Killian was thinking of an exit strategy and Caspian was ready to fight. Meanwhile, Audrey and her friends were shaking in their boots. Audrey felt a deep pit building in her stomach. This couldn’t be good.
~ Audrey ~Dark. There was nothing but darkness for miles. Audrey couldn’t see anything in front of her. The last thing she remembered seeing was the helicopter's light. They shone brightly on the wreckage that was her life. But after she saw the flood of blood all over her body, Audrey’s mind shut off. It couldn’t handle it. The sight before her eyes was far too gruesome. She didn’t know how long she was out for. Sometimes she’d see flashes of light. She could also see the faces of people leaning in front of her. There were people that she didn’t know. Maybe they were the FBI.
