At the Rock family home, it was a quiet night.

Marvin took another sip of his coffee, then said to Varez, "You're still the most accomplished man at that time. You're number one, man!"

Varez looked away and watched the trees from this balcony. "Grades are useless if you don't have skills, experience, and money. I'm just a petrol station worker, and I'm stuck at the head of the shift. I'm not reliable."

Varez even went so far as to regret his studies. He thought it was useless to go to school for years and end up as a petrol station worker. What he had learnt so far was a waste.

There were many reasons why Varez was not as successful as his classmates, apart from the fact that he had no money and no insiders. Despite being highly intelligent, Varez didn't have great verbal skills. He knows theories and formulas by heart, but when it comes to dealing with big people, he's clumsy and nervous.
