Reality

I have realized that the biggest mistakes I made during childhood were not the mistakes themselves, but the fact that I never dared to walk up to my dad and apologize for every one of them.

Flashback

" I'll cook later, what do you want to eat? Say anything I'll give it to you" I should have said that I want to eat spaghetti, Ice cream and carbonara, I should have received those shoes, I should have helped him carry the bags of groceries he was carrying, I should have hugged him when he needed me the most, I should have shown him how lucky I am to be his son

"Here take this money." I should have held his dirty hands that time, offered him my jacket to cover his ripped clothes and proudly shouted that he is my father, I should have treated him to lunch after that, joined him walking from school to our house, talking to each other.
