Inside the car

Scarlett POV

Lunch was over and the three of us left the restaurant, the car was already waiting for us and just like before, I stood in the middle between Nick and Will.

This time Will put his hand on my thigh and gave it a gentle squeeze. I kept looking straight ahead, as if it was nothing and made no sense.

"Can you stand for long in heels?" Will asked in a casual tone.

'Why such a question?

I thought and looked a little surprised.

"It depends on what you mean by a long time... The last time I counted, I was on my feet for a few hours." I replied in the same tone, still without turning my head.

The longest I'd stayed was yesterday, from getting dressed, doing the show, then going to their house. The whole thing had been a few hours... And I have a good resistance to pain.

"Good," Will whispered very close to my ear and squeezed my leg once more.

I felt my skin shiver as I held my breath for a second, not expecting him to be so close.
