"That's why we're playing today like this," Will said, and I turned my face to him. "It's the beginning of the apprenticeship, you're not going to leave today knowing everything, but you're going to get the first kick."

"Got it." I took another deep breath.

"Now I'm going to do the same on this arm, and we'll take it from there," Will commented and began to pass the ropes.

"I hardly feel your touch." I began to describe. "I feel the pressure of the strings when you pull, but when I feel your fingers it's like feeling a brush, or a feather. Soft... It's like watching a painter while she's brushing a canvas."

Will finishes in the same way as Nick, leaving a loop on my shoulder.

"It's a good comparison." Will smiles and then they both change positions. Nick at my back and Will in front of me. "Now we're going to use the ropes to pass through your body, you won't be able to see very well, just the front, but you need to keep describing the sensations."
