Chapter 26 Testing

“You have something to say to me?” Leon turned his head and looked at me critically.

“I think you should tell me!” I plucked up my courage and said, “You brought me here. Do you not think you ought to explain to me why? And what about the wedding?”

Leon had never mentioned anything about the wedding to me, but just now, at the end of the mate's trial, I distinctly heard Anna promise Leon that she would be present at his wedding. So was the wedding part of Leon's plan? When is the wedding going to take place, or is he already planning our wedding?

Oh, shit! Why has this man not told me anything?

“Tell me what?” Leon said slowly, apparently keeping me in suspense.

“Everything!” Stressed out, I stared at him angrily. “I don’t want to be led by the nose like a fool!”

“Me too!” Leon crossed his arms on his breast. “If you want to know something from me, at least be polite. Your current attitude makes me very dissatisfied.”
