You Marked Me

I find myself staring at Nathan when I wake up. He sleeps peacefully beside me, without a care in the world.

I trace his lower lip with my finger as slowly as I can. If I wake him up now then who knows what will happen. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that we slept together, I need this time to think.

I'm so lost in thought that when he grasps my finger, I almost jump out of the bed.

"You don't have to be scared. I'm the only one in this bed with you."

My face turns crimson and I turn away, pulling my finger out of his grip and into the little space between us.

"I'm not scared." I mumble. I'm just embarrassed right now and you're making it worst!

'Oh, cut the crap. You enjoyed last night, I can remind you what happened if you want...' My wolf snickers and I gasp, pulling myself up on the bed.

"What happened last night was a mistake, nothing more. I didn't expect to go into heat if not I would have been prepared."
