Just The Beginning

Olivia’s POV

Soon the heat was too much for the rogues to bear so they ended up retorting. We put out the fire and everyone kept on looking at me with a smile.

I felt so good with myself.

We all knew they’d be back but for the meantime, everything was going to go back to normal. The guards helped those who were attacked and helped them with aids.

Amidst the whole commotion, my mom was rushed to the hospital but the king couldn’t go with her.

I planned to go later but right now I wanted to stay back to be sure the situation was good back here.

“What do you think you are doing?” I heard Lucas call out behind me.

His voice sounded so cold, I flinched.

“What do you mean? I saved everyone of course.” I replied bluntly.

“You almost got me killed.” He barked at me.

“Stop exaggerating, I made sure you got out safe and sound. So what’s the fuss about?” I questioned taking a few steps away from him.

His eyes were filled with fury which got me confused as to what exactly was making him angry.

what is going on with last couple chapters? they are not making any sense. its straying to far from the progress of the story line.
