Lockdown

Olivia’s POV

I heard a knock on my door and I replied almost immediately like I was anticipating it.

A maid peeked her head through the door.

“The king called for a meeting and you’re to attend alongside your brothers, your majesty.” She said calmly.

“Arrgh, what else is there to say?” I grumbled.

“Do you have any idea what the meeting is about?” I asked .

“It has something to do with the rogues, and your mother. He got some news from the hospital.” She said softly.

“My mom? I said to myself and ran out of the room almost immediately.

I got to the dining hall and I was surprised to see everyone was already seated and was waiting for me.

I saw my mom seated beside the King and I sighed in relief.

“She was okay.” I sighed in relief.

I didn’t want her to know I cared about her that much; I was still mad at her for everything, till I got things right, I still wanted her to keep her distance from me. I just didn’t want anything bad to happen to her.
