“You should calm down,” Amelie says, her head resting on my chest and her fingers gently caressing my arm. We are laying on our tangled sheets after two hours of intense lovemaking. I am still furious over the kind of behavior Ace displayed this afternoon in my office. Amelie came in shortly after, and she does know just how to make me feel better. At this rate, the crescent pack is going to have an heir soon and secure my pack member's future.
