The next day, Reva woke up when she saw Viktor getting dressed. She abruptly got up as she never slept after sunrise.

Viktor turned to see her with a smile.

“Sleep if you want,” he said.

“No,” she said and went to the bathroom. After finishing chores, she came out to find the breakfast is here. She sat down with her wet hair and Viktor puts a towel around her shoulders so that her dress won’t get wet.

“It’s pasta today,” Viktor said.

“I know, chef told me yesterday,” she answered.

It’s so new for Viktor to hear her speak to him and this what he craved for all these days. Her voice is so sweet, like a melody.

“Your voice suits you,” he said.

She looked at him, “What if it doesn’t suit me?” she asks, “Will you ask me stop talking?”

“No, it’s not what I meant. I like your voice, even if you sound manly,” he said, “Don’t get offended by what I said,”
