“Lunch sounds great please!” I say looking up at Allan as he folds his tall masculine body into the back seat of his car.

“Where is there to eat? I’m hungry as a pig, I hardly ever eat.”

I notice the Beta and Allan both exchanging looks as they both speak in unison.

“They have a burger that is to die for! You won’t be disappointed.” Allan spent the next fifteen minutes telling me about how this place has a burger that’s infused with bacon and how he and the Beta always come here when in the area. I just stared out the window as we left the territory. I’d never been this far away from the packhouse before everything was different. Everything was much more colorful. After about an hour we come to a complete stop in front of a cute Riverfront diner. Allan climbs out of the back seat and makes his way around to my door; he opens it and extends his hand to help me up out of the car.
