Is it Going to Be Fine?

If my mom is alive and well, will she ask me to buy her favorite apple crumble pie and eat it with her? This is the case for me; I have so many what-ifs, so many wishes left unanswered because my mother isn't here with me anymore.

Looking at Amanda makes ne furious more than pleased; I'm not given a chance to fight with her that night, and until now, whoever that evil pack who murdered mine perished without getting punished. I'm savoring the burden in my hands like the blood of my collection is on me.

"That's my favorite too among others in the world; I'll try to drop by--, I mean, get you some when I get home."

Amanda welcomes me in her arms, hugging me gently, "Thank you, you're so sweet like sugar, and I'm happy after so long I found a daughter in you."

I don't know how to hug people back; it isn't my nature. I'm not the affectionate girl in the room. I don't belong to anyone or anything all my life, but why do I feel somehow I do now?
