ARIA POV

"Is it good?" I asked as Marcus feasted on the dish he thought I didn't make.

"Yes." He replied, staring grudgingly at me. I smiled widely at him and be understood what that smile meant.

"What did you do to the food?" He asked but i did not respond and continued easting.

He slammed his hands on the table and stood up angrily, "I asked you a question, didn't I?" He shouted at me.

"Nothing, I just cooked it." I said, smugly and he was turning red.

"That's a lie, I watched you and you didn't prepare any of these." He argued.

"That's because they were already being cooked before you got there, I just didn't touch them again until they were served." I replied nonchalantly.

"You snake! You did that on purpose didn't you?" He accused and he was right.

The moment he was around the kitchen, I smelt him but I didn't look his way. I was mad at him after all plus he wanted nothing to do with me, while should I cling unto him?
