MARCUS POV

I watched as the maid I sent to call Aria out took her all the way to the bunker. When she finally met Timothy, he knocked her unconscious immediately and that was too sudden even for me.

He hit her so hard that I even wanted to punch Timothy for handling her that rough.

I went closer to him, "Hey, what's wrong with you? Why hit her like that? Did you forget it'll activate the mating bond?" I yelled at him.

"I'm sorry." He apologized with a bow, "But she was about to figure out something was wrong, I had to attack when her guard was still down." He explained.

I nodded. He seemed to have a point.

"Alright, you know the way, take her out of the castle and wait for me where we agreed," I instructed him. He nodded, then carried her on his shoulder and walked off into the bunker.
