Chapter Sixty

DARIUS POV

Killian was the first to leave Marcus' room, but I stayed behind, waiting for us to be alone. My expression drew darker as soon as the door shut behind him.

"What would you have done?"

I asked Marcus.

"Hmm?" He raised a brow, and his nose wrinkled. "What are you talking about now?" He complained.

"If Alpha Matthias had done anything to Aria, what would you have done?" I repeated.

He paused, bit his lower lip, then ran a hand through his hair, "Nothing would have happened to her. He wouldn't have killed her, at least."

"But you don't know how that man is!" I shouted at him, "You know I'm not playing when I say I would have killed you as well if anything happened to her." I threatened. My eyes drew darker, and a growl escaped from the back of my neck; he growled at me as well, "I won't warn you again; stay away from Aria; don't even try to get to know her. I will not watch her suffer by your hands anymore."
