Chapter Fifty Eight

I waited impatiently, but nothing happened; I was sure he would have gotten to us by then and had bitten me, but nothing happened. I smelled another familiar scent in the two; no, it was two different scents. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Alpha Matthias frozen there with his mouth wide open and his eyes filled with shock.

I looked above him and found Killian holding his tail back. I looked beside me and found Darius, in his wolf form, glaring at Alpha Matthias.

When did they get there?

Relief washed over me; seeing them by my side was reassurance that I wouldn't die here today.

"You're here!" I shouted excitedly.

Timothy collapsed behind me at the moment, and I rushed to his side. I shook him, trying to wake him up, but he didn't budge. He was still breathing, so that was a relief. I was sure he passed out because of exhaustion from the fight. He had broken a lot of bones, and he needed time to heal.
