ARIA POV

I felt my heart getting torn apart as my eyes went over to Marcus and Lauren again. They kisses openly with no care in the world and my chest tightened from just watching.

I wants to humiliate me, make me feel bad and it was working. I know nobody knows us here but I felt ashamed. I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me.

I felt my eyes sting as a watched, my lips quivered and although I try to be strong, I don't think I'll be able to last any longer.

A hand suddenly blocked my view and I was able to peel my eyes away. I gulped down the lump that had formed on my throat and looked away.

I turned to Killian, he dropped his hand and placed it over my hand. "Hey, don't watch that." He says, his eyes were softer than before.

He gave it a little squeeze, "Don't let that bastard ruin our day, okay?" I nodded in response.

That's what I'd like too.

For his shenanigans to not affect me but I caught myself staring again when they went to the beach.

Marcus taught Lauren how
