Chapter Seventy Eight

MARCUS POV

I heard Aria screaming and my heart began aching, the mating bond was pulling me back to Aria and I had to do it if I wanted the aching to stop.

The sudden aching and pull could only mean one thing and that is she was in danger or seriously hurt.

I needed to go to her and I did. When I got there, I found her on the ground crying in pain. Lauren that bitch was threatening her but before I could act, Darius appeared and threw her to the fountain.

He left Aria and dragged Lauren out of the fountain then began strangling her. His eyes were vicious, from the way he was staring at her, I just knew he wanted to kill her right then and there.

I too wanted her dead, she wasn't doing her job well anyway but that would just make my brothers and Aria look down on me. I couldn't let that happen.
