Chapter Seventy Nine

Everytime, I always make Darius and Killian worried.

Darius carried me to my room bridal style and laid me on my soft king-size bed. He placed my head on the soft pillow carefully like he was protecting a baby and I couldn't help but give him a small smile for his care.

"If Marcus wasn't there, I promise you Aria, I would have killed Lauren for you." He said to me, his eyes half lidded, his lips in a straight line, guilt was written all over his face and I wanted to let him know it was okay but before I could, Killian spoke over me.

"No, we have to get rid of her intellectually. We have to do it in a way where it won't cause a war between us and Marcus."

"And as we do that, Lauren bullies Aria the more. What if I wasn't there? She could have harmed her and made her leave the castle - made her leave us for good!" Darius argued with Killian.

"I think that war is inevitable. We have to first take care of Marcus before we can finally end that bitch."
