Chapter Twenty Two

KILLIAN POV

I found Darius walking out of the garden as I approached him. He was dressed up, wearing a blue shirt that hugged his abs and skinny jeans. He was grinning from ear to ear when I saw him, his smile vanished once he saw me as well.

"Look, I know what you said before but I don't think Aria wants any more space. She should have forgiven you by now." Darius began talking immediately when he saw my displeased look.

"I know." I simply said, I, myself, didn't feel any emotions in my voice.

"You're the one who…" he began without listening to me properly then stopped halfway, "Wait, have you seen her? And she's no longer mad?" He asked, I could hear the happiness in his voice, it's too bad I'm about to ruin it with shocking news.

"Darius, we have something bigger in our hands." I let out a sigh before I continued, "I've found out who delivered that letter to Aria," Darius's face lit up once he heard those words, he opened his mouth to speak but I wasn't done, I talked over him,
