I kept pacing. I was on edge. To say that I was worried, would be an understatement. Finding my mate on the floor had pushed me into panic. Besides, Jonathan had been attending to her for more than thirty minutes. The wait was killing me. I needed to know what was going on.

"Jared? You can come in now," said Jonathan.

I hurried into the room and found him standing by the bedside, watching Andrea as she slept.

"What happened? Is she going to be alright?" I asked.

"She appears fine. Infact, she's sleeping soundly. I think she was attacked by the demon" he said. I clenched my fists, tensed.

"She might have seen the demon. But, there's a high chance that she won't remember what it looked like. More so, there's something else we should be concerned about" he said.

Our gazes met. He sighed and turned to look at Andrea who had her eyes closed.
