WILLOW’S POV

I hated the feeling of jealousy that overwhelmed me when Alpha Reign and Princess Sophia came in, even though I was a bit relieved because I could not explain what I was feeling for Jaden. I was almost intoxicated with his scent.

When Jaden was called to join his father, I felt a sense of loss. I wanted him and was also afraid of what it meant to have him, I was deeply conflicted. As if that was not enough, a guard came to get me. I felt a wave of nervousness wash over me when I was told that Alpha Reign requested a private audience with me. As I entered his office, he gestured for me to take a seat. I sat down, my hands clasped tightly in my lap as I waited for him to speak.

"Willow," Alpha Reign began, his voice deep and stern. "I want to discuss a matter with you. I know my son is a very handsome and intelligent young man and I understand that ladies of all species would want him.”
