Jake's POV

I watched on as the priestess hands over a glass bottle to Rachael, the contents of the bottle unknown, and I wasn't the only one who felt skeptic about it.

"What is this?" Racheal asked, eyeing the bottle suspiciously as she collected it from the priestess.

"Your wolf bone." The priestess answered. I didn't expect the wolf bone would be in some kind of liquid form.

"What else did you think it would be?" The priestess asked.

"But how?" Racheal asked, clearly confused.

"The alpha made me extract your wolf-bone in a liquid form and with my powers. Because the only other way would be to tear up your skin and take it out," The priestess explained.

Racheal nodded her head, then proceeded to gulp down the contents of the bottle.

I watched in amazement as the liquid she had drunk flowed into her veins, emanating blue light… then it began, the merge.

I had gone through it once, so I knew what it would be like.

I watched on as Racheal screamed out in pain, her bones cracking,
