Jared's POV

It was pretty late in the night and I laid on my bed ready to call it a night.

The moment my body touched my bed, I heard a really loud buzz, and it was coming from the gate. That was the bell at my grandfather’s gate.

But who would be at the gate by this time of the day? The time is 10pm right now.

The loud buzz came again, and I knew I just had to go check the gate, or this insane person would end up waking my grandparents.

Sighing tiredly, I stood up from my bed, walked over to my room door, opened it and exited the room.

I climbed down the stairs, passed through the living room, then exited the house in general.

Still grumbling, I went to the gate, then unlocked the smaller gate, “Xavier?”

Could I possibly be dreaming? Because, why in the world is Xavier standing before my grandparents' house?

“Hey.” He greeted, with a lopsided smile, his hands tucked in his trousers, looking dangerously handsome.
