Brielle's POV

"You're acting unusual," Killian said to me. I felt like ripping out his bones for being so suspicious. If it wasn't that he saved me when Hades almost killed me, I wouldn't stay in his pack. He wanted me and he had me. But if Hades was bent on killing me, would he be seeking me still? I badly wanted to know why he kept searching for me. I glanced back and couldn't see him behind me. He was an expert at hiding indeed.

"There's nothing weird. You only make me feel unusual by those questions," I said and decided to come out and shut the door but he insisted, "let me do a quick check-up. The son of a bitch might have sneaked in here again. I told you to put a wolf that would recognize the masked Alpha in search of permitting people to get into that hall but you refused. You blatantly did."
