Hades' POVThe hall was resounding with so much noise and I could see the Alpha King seated on his royal throne while some official members welcomed us into the hall. I saw Killian move inside the hall just before I did. I chuckled softly as I knew my man was in action in his pack already.I almost got in but I was stopped and asked to remove my mask which I blatantly refused to do."The masked Alpha." One of my men said and the one that stopped me asked, "The one that's greatly feared? Oh, I'm so sorry, sir. Do not rip out my bones." He said and we both chuckled as he let us in. I was seated comfortably on the seat provided as my gazes locked with Killian's but I didn't see Brielle. Some Alphas came with their Luna while some didn't. I also didn't. If Killian thought he had a stronger security, why not bring Brielle with him? I could hijack him on the way to Ohio and even kidnap him too, so he wouldn't bring up a plan to look for us. Stupid man.The King Alpha welcomed all of us as t
Hades' POV"I do not have a phone with me," he slowly said, "and I'm not sure if Papa would have returned. He should find me on time.""Oh, trying to play smart, ain't?" I asked and we all scoffed, except for the little boy."No. If you have a phone, we can call her and I'd speak with her." He said and I signaled to one of my men to bring his cell phone. If I called with my line, she'd know it's me since she saved my number already."The number is..." He said but I interrupted, "I know it offhand. Just stay put and speak to her. Ensure you convince her to come here. If not, you won't be leaving. I hope you're aware." I said and guffawed. Then, I typed her number from my phone to one of my men's, and it began to ring."Hi, mum," the little boy said."Cutie, where are you?! I've been searching for you. Where the hell are you?!" She screamed in angst."An hideout I think. But here's so secretive, you can't reach me. They required you to come over here before I am released.""Come over? I
Hades' POVI was becoming impatient. If she didn't appear within the next few minutes, I would kill the little boy. Lest they forget I was the masked Alpha that everyone feared. I was a no-go area Alpha. Anyone who tested my ability would go for it. I could see her coming towards us suddenly but she was with a guard."I'll go in now and you can attend to her. She's the one in a blue top and black jeans," informed my men and they held the little boy back as he almost screamed "Mum!"I got in and peeped through the slit on the wall to see how my men would treat Brielle and the guard. She finally got there and ran to her kid as she pulled him for a hug."Now that I'm here, can I go with my kid?" She rolled her eyes at the armed able-bodied men as her glances went straight to the eyes watching them through the slit. It seemed she saw me already."Who's your leader? I guess I'm correct. Come out!" She yelled and started coming in my direction. How could she scream at me to come out? What d
Hades' POVAs I got to my pack, I hurried to my room and brought Brielle in as well. I knew my wolves would be shocked to see that I brought her home. I didn't know what eventually happened to my men. They could have been killed. Life happens.I made her lay in bed before I could think properly. I ensured the door was tightly locked before I headed to the restroom. I turned on the shower after getting off my clothes. I cleaned myself up and checked around my waist where I was injured but I couldn't find any spot there anymore. My wolf had completed the healing quickly. I knew Brielle's wolf would have done that too.I could hear some knocks on the door but I wouldn't open it yet. Brielle needed some good rest as she just escaped from a little yet tough battle between who wanted her. I chuckled at Killian for wasting his energy to fight me. He didn't know I was the most feared Alpha and would get anything I wanted, no matter what it would cost me. Where was he when I became her bidder?
Hades' POVIt was late in the night. I called my beta and we discussed it in his room. He had soundproofs installed there while I even didn't."I think it'll be wiser to come up with a swift plan." He said."Like?" I asked and folded my arms across my chest."We can't just go right there and start to kill his wolves. There's no way the Alpha King wouldn't hear about it. We can ambush any of his wolves and kill them without revealing our faces. You're masked but you can put on more masks so you won't be noticed. Or you might just stay back and we would do the job." He said."Do you know how many wolves I've lost to this process?" I asked and he sighed deeply."I understand. But we can lose more wolves to gain what we want. We are the rulers. Oh, sorry, I mean you're the ruler." He said and I chuckled evilly. He suddenly drew my ears closer to himself as he whispered his plan. I nodded in the affirmative and commented, "It's such a good one. I can't wait for us to execute it successfull
Hades' POVWe finally got to the pack and cheered for executing the plan successfully."I knew it was time to leave. That's why I encouraged them to come with me!" One of the men yelled and I rolled my eyes in his direction, "What do you mean? Didn't my beta call for you instead?""He didn't. When we got downstairs, we met him waiting for us before we saw you. I just perceived it was high time we left. I didn't even know that cops were already in front of the shop. We narrowly escaped, master.""Mind your words and return to the field. You should be so thankful to him for being saved. If you were killed, no one would care. I hope you know." I said and he nodded his head."Hope you all are complete. No one answered my question while we sped away from the cops." I said and the beta shrugged, "I didn't count them, so I can't say but with the look of things, I'd say we are complete."I smiled and chuckled softly, "That's great. Cheers to more plans. Thanks for coming up with that anyway.
Killian's POVI just returned from the meeting the Alpha King called all packs for. I was informed Brielle had sneaked out of the pack. I wasn't instantly mad at her for not waiting patiently till I returned from the big hall. I was mad at the security wolves I entrusted her to.They were visibly shaking as some of them slit their throat since they felt they betrayed me and committed Brielle into the hands of the enemy already. I instructed them to stay safe and not kill themselves any further. They felt peaceful by those words and those about to die regretted they didn't wait to hear that. They fell to the ground and died as their colleagues packed them into the dungeon."Where's Brielle?! Which direction did she take?!" I screamed at them. One of them was trying to appease my anger, telling me to calm down and rest for a while as I just returned from a long journey, but he couldn't voice out. I understood his moves. Anyway, I wouldn't let him play his moves on me. They pointed in th
Hades' POVMy beta suddenly sneaked into my room when I least expected him. He said to had an urgent message for me but it was all lies. He needed to know what secret I had been keeping as I restricted everyone from getting into my room. First, I received the news that Killian had stopped the cops from acting further and had cooked up some reasonable lies so they would reason with him. I felt that was another successful plan executed. Let's see how he rebuilds another coffee shop in a month."Who the hell is this?" He pointed in the direction of the girl and I knew he meant the fake Brielle. Thanks to her for removing the mask earlier, I would have been mocked to stupor for bringing a fake object to the pack after so much effort and struggle."It's a girl I saved from the simple war," I said and he chuckled."Simple war?" He asked, stifling giggles, "Bro, no war is simple.""Bro?" I asked, cautioning him not to forget how to address me properly. He nodded in the affirmative and apolog
