Hades' POV

As I got into my room, my beta walked in, as well with a gloomy face. It looked like he was performing his responsibility as a beta under duress. I didn't like such. We were warriors and we had to endure any pain inflicted on us, whether by our fellow warriors or any other person, but especially by the ruler whom I was.

"What is it? Thought you were mad at me." I asked but he didn't say a word.

"Know it's so rude for you to do that?" I brought it to his notice and he apologized, "I'm sorry, Hades. I felt my efforts were fruitless since I did a lot of work to find her."

"Aren't you a warrior? Don't push me to the wall." I warned and he zipped up his lips.

"So, what is it?" I asked as I saw him standing still.

"Nothing much. Got a letter from the King Alpha in Ohio." He said.

"Ohio? How does that concern this pack?" I asked in return.

"I got a letter from them. I also don't know how it concerns the pack." He responded.

"What does it say?"

"It says that he wants all packs in A
