Killian's POV

I had sent the men to locate Hades. He must have left the woods to seek a safer hideout.

"To locate Hades, not just roaming about the woods." I had instructed my men before they finally left. The betrayers had been tortured for hours and I had asked the torturer to make the torture more severe for them.

But it was getting late again and my men hadn't gotten back to me yet. I wondered what might have happened. I knew they might be very busy with finding Hades, but at the same time, I needed to know what was truly wrong with them.

I tried to connect with their mind links but it wasn't going through. None of their mind links. Who could have blocked that? Were they trying to hide their scent? Not so certain. Why should they? They should even let Hades know they're coming for him! He might get scared and flee towards another direction where half of them would capture him and seize Brielle, my meat.

As the hours flew past, I kept worrying so I locked myself up in the room
