Killian's POV

I was still limping towards the direction they took down the woods to find another safe hideout when I suddenly felt enervated. My wolf needed to complete my healing before I would move many distances.

I dropped to the ground and released a sigh. There's a large grin on my face and I would kill anyone sighted, especially any of my wolves. They were all damn cowards. I felt like I needed to get down to the pack to gather some more able-bodied wolves to pursue Hades since I knew the direction they were going.

I tried to rise to my feet but I dropped to the ground again, sighing heavily. I tried to connect my mind to the pack's link, to inform the warriors about it. But my wolf wasn't responding.

"Calm down," my wolf spoke to me. I could hear the voice in my head as though someone was right behind me, speaking.

After a few more hours in the middle of the woods, my wolf completed the healing and I hid behind a tree when I noticed a rogue wolf coming towards me. The eyes
