Killian's POV

It was another day and my Beta was around the corners of my room, sensing I had something up my sleeve. I needed to prepare at least five hundred warriors from my pack to attack Hades' pack. That was about seventy percent of my pack but I didn't mind. As long as I get Brielle, I don't mind losing warriors. Maybe not anymore.

"What are you trying to do?" My Beta stopped to ask, his arms folded across his chest. For some minutes, I didn't say a word as I thought about what would serve him well for trying to monitor the Alpha of the pack.

"Back off, so you won't regret it," I said and walked away. As I entered a mb empty room to think about how I was going to go about the attack and the preparation, I saw him seated there, waiting for me. I didn't need to ask if he was a vampire or a Spirit. There were many ways to get inside the room. He could have run and entered here through other doors. That must be the case.
