Killian's POV

No. I wasn't going to give up. I needed to seize Brielle from his grip. He had run out of the hideout, his clothes burning up in flames. That was so entertaining to watch, but at the same time, he could flee with Brielle.

"Why are you waiting, watching him?" I asked my men who were close to him when he escaped. I wondered why they hesitated to fire at him.

"You all should stay somewhere while I go confront him myself," I said and composed myself as I shifted into my wolf. I could sense some of them following me behind, probably to ensure I was safe. I didn't attack them anymore. I left them to follow me since their disobedience might be of prior importance to me now.

I could see Hades running and panting heavily as he headed towards the deeper side of the woods.
