Hades' POVThe maids had been informed about my plans for me. That certainly was the reason I didn't find them in Brielle's room. If I had found them, they would have breathed their last now. I sighed anxiously, hoping Brielle would be found very soon.I whistled to my beta to come over and when he got to my side, he informed me that Brielle could be in the woods."Will you prepare the men or should I?" I asked."I think you should. They can't disobey you but they can disobey me." He replied and I chuckled evilly. How would someone under my reign as the leader disobey me? Such was indirectly craving death."I'll give you my order and you'll relay the message to them. Anyone that doesn't comply, you can let me know." I said and whispered into his ears. He nodded in the affirmative and left my presence. While I had sent him to gather men together to look for Brielle in the woods, I began to search for her as well but in the pack. I went to the dark empty room but couldn't even trace her
Hades' POV"You're requesting for something you can get..." He said for the umpteenth time but I lashed out at him as my wolf growled impatiently."Do it!" I yelled."It's not possible. Kill me, Alpha! It's not possible. I swear." He said and began to run away from my sight. My beta walked in the same minute he left."He can't help you summon the moon goddess. She'd know who he's summoning her for. If it's his personal case, it'd be approved. But for you, Alpha...we both know the story. I'll advise you to summon the moon goddess yourself." My beta said."Do you think you just made a reasonable statement?" I angrily asked."I am sorry, Alpha. So sorry. But for the sake of locating Brielle, do the needful." He said and walked out on me but I grappled him from behind and flung him at a distant place. He dropped to the ground, and found himself on the field. My wolf growled once more as I quickly got to him before he would run away. I throttled his throat and stared intensely at him, "nex
Hades' POVI walked into the pack's dungeon. I was willing to go any length to track Brielle down. If only she knew the sacrifices I made to search for her, she wouldn't give me a hard time like this. She wasn't aware, I knew. Sacrifices which included the death of half of the warriors I sent to search for her. The rogues had taken them down and fed on them.I heard there could be traces of feral werewolves or probably lycanthropes around the forest they invaded. It was so dangerous. I couldn't even inform Brielle about the packs very close to us. She would want to explore them but to cross the path to the other packs meant risking one's life.I blocked my nostrils with my fingers because of the foul stenchy smell that erupted from the dungeon. It was where dead wolves were being dumped or wolves who got so sick and didn't have any cure anymore. They would live in the dungeon and the smell might cure them. It did happen in rare cases anyway.I went on my knees as I began to reflect on
Hades' POVIf I waited for a response from the moon goddess, I would lose Brielle forever. I saw the thoughts dropping into my mind as suggestions from the moon goddess but none worked out yet. While I stood in the front of my room awaiting some potent idea to create a plan with, and execute the plan without any further delay, the pack's gate widely opened and the warriors returned."I thought you guys had returned the previous night," I said. Though I was a few metres away from them, yet they heard me clearly."No. We promised to return the previous night but we thought our colleagues would be healed by their wolves or a nearby pack healer. There wasn't even a pack close to the place where we found Brielle. Probably the pack's scent was hidden from us." He responded."Everyone can get in except for you," I said, pointing at the one who replied me, "follow me behind to my room. I have a few words with you."He went on his knees suddenly, pleading, "Hades, I beg of you. Don't take me t
Hades' POVBrielle's mother opened the conversation: "Alpha, what would you like to take?"I cleared my thought slightly, "nothing. I am here on behalf of Brielle."At first, they looked stunned but her father intervened since they all fell silent. I could feel the irration her sisters felt when I mentioned her name."What happened to her?" He asked, and took his seat, right in front of me."Nothing bad," I said, cleared my throat and stared at each of them, "you don't look surprised. I expected more than this from you.""We've never met you, have we?" Her father suddenly said which sounded like an insult to me."You've never met me but," I said with aow gruff tone but I suddenly rise to my feet, growling lowly, "you must have heard about me. Didn't you release your daughter to be with me?""Didn't she plead with you to stay here and not come close to me?" I asked again and now, the shock on their faces satisfied me. They were scared to realize how I knew that."She could have informe
Hades' POVThey were confident about resisting the urge to lunge an attack at I and my subjects. Why were they so quiet now? I thought they were the rulers of the pack."We aren't here with guns. Why surrender?" I asked, laughing derisively at them."I beg your pardon." The father said, "here are the details of Brielle. She's in her early twenties, fair and a beautiful damself. She went to Oakland high school and lived in Texas for..." He began to say but I interrupted suddenly."I didn't ask for that, dumbass," I said and faced the guards who were holding chains that have been soaked in silver already, "chain them if they don't respond on time.""Just state what exactly you want and we'll surely provide the details." Her father said with a trembling voice. It made so much sense to me to threaten them this way. I was willing to make their lives a living hell, even if they revealed Brielle's information to my taste. They had trespassed by raising their voices at me initially. They had
Hades' POV"Her story read that you guys should always know her location as you've been together with a while and you certainly killed her parents. You did that to inherit their properties and send her out of the house. Isn't that true?" I asked again, starting to feel bad for Brielle. She never knew all these secrets and I was going to inform her after I dealt with these people and got out of here.My forehead creased when the two wolves grunted once more. The two rude sisters of Brielle. I turned to the guard and said loudly, "if those wolves growl again, you have the rights to attack them. Ensure you kill both of them!""Calm down, Hades. This is a threat. Do you know who these wolves are? No, you don't. And, you don't need to. An Alpha shouldn't be, without a security wolf with him." The father said. The two wolves began to growl seriously and loudly as my guards began to shake terribly, even with the chains soaked in silver with them. I suddenly felt disappointed as my eyes switc
Hades' POVThe guards were in a rush to get in the car which got me pissed off the more."Can you just stop being a coward?" I asked, but the expression on their faces was disapproving."They might break off and pursue us immediately," one of them said, "I can go and check them again, right?""Sure." I said and they both returned to the room to peep through the door and check how unable or able they were able to move. As soon as they couldn't stare back and see me, I walked out of the living room and locked the door from outside. I could see the rest of the guards taking a lot of pictures with my car. I fumed at that but stood by the door, so the guards would understand I deliberately locked them in. Why would they doubt the power of the silver chains? The door began to budge suddenly as they muttered within themselves, "why the hell would he lock the door? Doesn't he know we are still in?"Another muttered, "he must be nuts. How can we break this door?"I didn't react to those words
