Hades' POV

I walked into the pack's dungeon. I was willing to go any length to track Brielle down. If only she knew the sacrifices I made to search for her, she wouldn't give me a hard time like this. She wasn't aware, I knew. Sacrifices which included the death of half of the warriors I sent to search for her. The rogues had taken them down and fed on them.

I heard there could be traces of feral werewolves or probably lycanthropes around the forest they invaded. It was so dangerous. I couldn't even inform Brielle about the packs very close to us. She would want to explore them but to cross the path to the other packs meant risking one's life.

I blocked my nostrils with my fingers because of the foul stenchy smell that erupted from the dungeon. It was where dead wolves were being dumped or wolves who got so sick and didn't have any cure anymore. They would live in the dungeon and the smell might cure them. It did happen in rare cases anyway.

I went on my knees as I began to reflect on
