Two

Rage coursed through me. I hated that I had so much of it and no wolf to show for it. If I did, I would have scratched his face off. “You…you…” I shook my head, feeling tears coming down my face. “You can’t be serious. Out of everyone you could have picked, you had to pick Quinn?”

Jack pulled her close to him and sniffed her hair. “I didn’t just pick her. She’s my mate. We found out when your father went into the hospital. He was keeping us from being together.”

If I had had a wolf, my wolf would have known what to do in this situation. As it was, I couldn’t help but cry uncontrollably. I shoved Jack. Hard. “How could you do this?” I demanded. “You know how awful that—that---” I glared at Quinn.

            “That what?” Quinn sneered.

“My father’s not even dead yet!” I hissed.

Quinn smiled. “Oh, you didn’t know? He died last night. This was my way of celebrating.”

"No, no, You're lying to me. I don't believe it!!"

I clenched my fists together. “You bitch!” I glared at Jack. I wished that I had claws. “Seriously, Jack, after everything we went through how can you be with her? Even if she is your mate?”

Jack smirked. “She fucks better than you.”

I hated everything. My father was dead, Quinn had taken my ex-boyfriend, and now I had no future.

He grinned and reached out to stroke my arm. “Don’t worry, Emily. We won’t kick you out of the pack. We know how valuable an Alpha’s daughter can be. We’ll make sure to marry you off to someone who will benefit the pack.”

I pulled away from him. “You’re disgusting. You’re not going to pick anything for me, much less a husband.”

“As the future Alpha of Moon Stone when I marry Quinn, I’ll have complete control over your life. What I say will go. We should start know. You might not be as good as Quinn but you’re still pretty enough. We had fun. You could have a threesome with us…”

I smacked him hard across the face. “You’re disgusting!”

            I turned to leave.

“Emily!” Quinn called out. I turned to look at her although I didn’t know why.

            “What?”

“You have to realize; I’m just doing what’s best for the pack. We can’t be without an Alpha. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a pack left.”

“You think that justifies this?” I screeched, unable to control myself. “I can’t believe that you couldn’t even wait until my father was in the grave! And that you had to choose my boyfriend for this is sick.”

Quinn smirked. “I didn’t choose him. He’s my mate. Anyway, it doesn’t matter what you think anymore. You’re nothing. An Omega. And I get to decide what happens with you. We need to secure some good will with another Alpha. Which means I am going to give you to him to do whatever he wants with you.”

She snapped her fingers, and Quinns guards appeared out of nowhere. “Take Emily home and lock her in her room. Make sure that she doesn’t escape. She’s going to be a gift for our very important visitor.”

The two betas grabbed hold of me tightly. “It would be our pleasure,” one of them said, whispering into my ear.

My stomach churned. “No!” I struggled against them. “No. Quinn, you can’t do this. You might be the wife of my father but that doesn’t mean that you rule my pack! I will find some way to get it back.”

“You’re just a little nothing Omega,” she sneered, “and I’m going to use you as I see fit. Right now that means that you are going to bring pleasure to a very important man that we need to secure an alliance with.”

“Let me go!” I snarled, trying to yank myself away from the guards.

The guards laughed. “Quite trying, Omega. You’ve got no idea how happy I am we get to destroy you. We’re done doing shit for you----you wolfless nothing. Quinn is going to make this pack be the best that it can be.”

“It’s not her pack!” I said. “You used to work for my father. Where’s your loyalty?”

“With Quinn,” the guards replied. “You’re not a real wolf! You don’t even have one. You’re going to come with us. Think we can take a piece later?”

            The guard looked at Quinn.

Quinn glared at him. “No. She might not have a wolf, but I’m the one that says who does what to her. She’s still an Alpha’s daughter. She can be of some use to us. Don’t touch her.”

            “Right,” the guard grumbled.

I was dragged off to my room by the big, hulking men. Quinn had taken over my pack and she was going to give me to some strange man that I had never met to be used for like a common whore. The men threw me into my room and locked me inside.

“Let me out!” I banged against the door. “Let me out. Please, please, please.”

The only answer that I got was laughter from the guards. I was stuck in the room and there was some strange man coming to rape me. I went to the window. It was only on the second floor. I might not have had a wolf, but I was still strong enough that I could survive that jump…. maybe…

I put on a pair of tennis shoes I had. I opened the window and went out onto the balcony. I crawled over the edge and gripped it tightly. Shit. This was a dumb idea. But I couldn’t let myself be fucked by some random stranger because Quinn had decided that I was the packs whore.

I closed my eyes and I jumped. I screamed the whole way down. When I landed, pain shot through my legs. I tried to push myself up, but a pair of strong arms grabbed me. I found myself staring face to face with the stranger that I had seen at the bar the night before. The one that had glared at the waiter for giving me the blue drink.
