Betrayal - Part I

“Shut up! You little bitch!” I spat and the smirk on her lips grew. I was overcome with the intense need to see her bleed. I wanted nothing more than to rip her head off and finish this. I had let my animal instincts take over me. And the want to kill took over my being and all I saw was red as my hold on her throat tightened. My chest vibrated with threatening growls that took over the sound of her whimpering in my hold.

My head shot to my right when a large palm grasped the hand that was wrapped around Sigrún’s throat. “Let her go, Nesta,” I growled in response and Anxo’s hold slightly tightened.

“This is not you.” He calmly said never breaking eye contact with me as Sigrún continued to whimper and gasp for air.

“You will regret this. Let her go!” His voice wasn’t commanding, yet I was tempted to give in to his requests. I could feel the rage that had consumed me slowly subside. Allowing me to breathe and understand what I was doing.
