Elyanna nodded, turning towards Cole, who was still standing in front of the door, "Open it quietly, and remain silent, I will need to act before she is aware of my presence." She looked over her shoulder at me then, adding, "You can talk to her, distract her, but do not get close. Any of you. If that is what she wants, you can be certain it will go badly for you." I nodded, and Cole moved aside, opening the door quietly, and Elsie's shrieks grew louder.

They remained near the door, while I moved to the hallway that ran across, lined with cells ether side, still staying well back from her cell. "Elsie?" I called to her, and her screams paused for a moment, "Dorian is on his way, okay? He's going to look you over, so we can talk." She began shrieking again, her voice beginning to sound hoarse from the constant abuse on her vocal chords, "COOOME CLOOOSER!" she screamed, and the thudding started again.

"I told you in not going to do that yet, Elsie," I answered, and she began repeating
