It was the longest twenty-four hours I had ever experienced.

Alpha Ketill stuck to his word. Austin and I were allowed to move around his pack without any guards. The people here greeted us but still kept their distance. After all, we were outsiders, we didn't belong.

For meals we were asked to join Alpha Ketill, who always seemed very happy to see us. Maybe a little too happy but at least we were not just thrown into their dungeons like Austin expected.

Alpha Ketill asked us many questions about Irina and Kelly. He was sad to hear of his daughters passing and tells us that he regretted not patching things up with Kelly because he never got to see his granddaughter grow up.
