While the women sleep, I watch her, the human. I hated that she was here, but I was intrigued how a human had been mated to a wolf, especially one like Gunnar. We never learned much about him and now we never will.

All those years ago, my father had told me that times were changing, and he was right, there was no denying it. Everything was so different now.

I try relaxing but I can’t, everything just seemed so surreal, I was finally bringing Irina home, although with an annoying tag a long. At least she would finally be able to meet her son. I just hoped it would go as well as I wanted it too.

I asked Austin to meet us at the airport for when we landed, I told him to bring Logan with him. Austin protested at first, reluctantly giving in when I change my tone with him. He just didn’t like the idea of letting Logan leave the pack lands and I understood why, but what better way for Irina to meet her son.
