Chapter 8

Ashley’s eyes went wide, as her mind quickly went to the story Xavier told her on how his father died. She came back to reality and placed her palm over Xavier's cheek. “What happened, Is anything wrong?” Ashley questioned.

Xavier closed in and planted a quick kiss on her lips. “Let’s talk about this after a shower and breakfast Okay” Xavier put an arm over her waist as they walked down the hallway to their room.

Ashley sniffed his arm and wrinkled her nose “Yeah you especially, you stink babe” she said this and laughed at the upset face Xavier made, looking at her laughing, Xavier burst out in laughter too.

They got to the room and tidied themselves up before going back downstairs to have breakfast. They walked hand in hand to the dining hall, and Rosalie and Isabel grinned ear to ear seeing their children on good terms again.

Xavier went ahead of Ashley and pulled out the seat next to him for her. She walked elegantly to the seat and mindlinked Xavier before sitting. ‘Why thank you
